Firefly offers room-only overnight accommodation for stays of one night or longer. Rooms accommodate 2 or 3 guests maximum. 

Access to accommodation is self-service using smart phone technology which guests must have to avail of Firefly’s services. 



Firefly’s fully accessible ground floor room can be reserved on booking - subject to availability. 


Age Policy

Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent / guardian at all times. 



Firefly bookings can be made online or by phone. If 3 or more rooms are needed in one reservation, please contact to check availability 



After a super sleep, for breakfast-to-go, take a few steps to street level for your morning caffeine fix, One14 Coffee serve up sustainable only coffees, teas and bites.

For those who believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day, take the short stroll to The Martello Hotel for its famous breakfast fare served from 08:00 until noon every day, tell them Firefly sent you and the coffee’s free!


Cancellation Policy 

Free cancellation if reservation cancelled 48hrs before check-in.



Pre Stay – Online Check in

You will receive an email to check in online 24 hours prior to arrival. Make sure you download the Assa Abloy Hospitality app so that you can get your virtual key. Once checked in your virtual key will be sent to your smartphone.


Check Out

Check out is simple, just gather up your things and go, no waiting to drop off keys

Your virtual key will deactivate at 11.00 on departure day



When booking, add a note to special requests if bedding for a little one is required, on arrival the firefly team will have this cosy and ready in the room.

Lost Property

It happens even to the most savvy traveller. If you have forgotten something please email us at to make arrangements for collection/postage.



Car Parking is available in Herbert Road Car park, 2 minutes walk away. There is a parking fee of €1 per hour, with max fee of €5 per day, from Monday – Saturday 08.30 – 18.30. Sunday

Firefly is a cashless property. Full pre-payment for your stay will be debited from your credit/debit card provided prior to arrival.

Cards will be debited 48 hours prior to arrival, or at time of booking if less than 48 hours to arrival date.


Room Key

Following your online check in, and after downloading the Assa Abloy Hospitality app, you will receive your room key to your smartphone. 

Your key will be active from 15.00 on your day of arrival, to access main door to enter the building and your room. Your key will deactivate at 11.00 on your departure day.

Just hold your phone with the key displayed up to door lock and you’re in (make sure your Bluetooth is on!).



Only guests with valid virtual key cards have access to the building. During your stay only you have access to your room. 

In case of fire, guests are requested to follow the exit plan displayed in every room 


Snacks & Drinks

One14 Coffee on street level, open from 07.00 – 18.00 Monday – Friday and 08.30 – 17.00 Saturday for Coffees, teas and bites 

Vending machine available on the ground floor – for snacks, drinks and those last minute travel accessories
